However, companies are finding that a successful ITAD program requires stringent policies and security practices. Given the complexities, outsourcing is a growing trend as companies discover ITAD requires special expertise beyond the scope of most IT departments. While ITAD adoption can appear challenging, it’s not unlike starting a new diet under doctor’s orders. While daunting at first, a more intelligent flow and movement of IT hardware should result in a leaner, more energetic and cost-effective IT operation.
